There is a primal kinship between our dogs and us that happily treads the line between our dogs as utilitarian animals for hunting and guarding, and our dogs as friends.
Dogs keep us healthy by improving our lives with companionship and loyalty and in return we should provide a safe and loving home environment; a large part of loving a dog is allowing him to stay in touch with his instincts. Nevertheless, we often do not or cannot allow them the opportunity to connect healthily with their instincts because we merely play fetch, bring them to dog parks, or let them run around our back yards. Though these activities are good for your dog, they are not a substitute for a pack leader-controlled run.
DogFit is a service that provides canine fulfillment through fitness, typically, in the form of running with your dog. This will not only improve his or her overall health, but will bring your dog to a higher level of fulfillment because running mimics the dog’s natural migratory instincts, providing satisfaction similar to the endorphin release you feel after a hard workout at the gym.
